Wine Australia Lunch
Date: 02/07/2023
Time: 13:00-15:30
Presenter: Wine Australia
Welcome to the Wine Australia lunch where we invite you to relax and enjoy a final drink whilst you catch up with old friends and new acquaintances before you head home or continue exploring the vineyards of Germany.
We are excited to share with you a broad range of wines from across the vast land of Australia. We asked our fellow MWs from in and around Australia to select today’s wines: some are from their own wineries and others are favourites they chose to share with you. They’ve put together a fantastic line-up of 35 wines, which we are sure will delight and surprise you.
The wines showcase the breadth and depth of contemporary Australian wine from 16 different regions. From Margaret River in the west to Hunter Valley in the east and from Granite Belt in the north to Tasmania in the south, the tasting will give you a snapshot of Australia’s distinct regions. The line-up features a diverse range of varieties and styles, from classic Shiraz and Chardonnay, to less widely available varieties including Assyrtiko, Albarino, Grenache Gris, Gamay and Nero d’Avola. All have been chosen to suit our informal summer lunch. We hope you’ll agree that the landscape of Australian wine has never looked more exciting.
We look forward to sharing them with you.
