Arid region in south east Spain, located +850 m above sea level. Old dry farmed bush vines of more than 40 years of age and yields of less than 20 hl/ha.

Soil Type
Sandy limestone, mixed with pebbles.
Vinification
Destemming and crushing followed by cold maceration for 48 hours before fermentation. Pumped over and punched down twice times daily during the 10-12 days of fermentation and maceration. Aged in 1-3 year old French oak barrels of 300 and 500 ltr for 6 months.
