Weingut Steitz Stein-Bockenheim

The Steitz family's nearly 14 hectares of vineyards are located in the far west of Rheinhessen, directly on the border to the Nahe and Pfalz winegrowing regions, in the village of Stein-Bockenheim. Christian Steitz, a trained winemaker and viticultural technician born in 1971, runs the business with his wife Diana. The vines grow on volcanic porphyry and andesite soils nearly 300 million years old, which are unique to Rheinhessen and account for the special character of the wines. In November 2022 we fully committed to regenerative agriculture and were certified organic.
