Weingut Heinrich Spindler

For 11 generations the Spindlers have been involved in viticulture in Forst. In 1656 Sontag Spindler acquired "three quarters Morgen Weingart" in the grand cru vineyard Forster Kirchenstück. Today, Markus Spindler passionately cultivates Riesling on the various soils of all the Forster top sites. Ecological management with own compost production, sowing of a diverse selection of plants and work by hand is a basic requirement. After extremely gentle grape processing and fermentation in the old vaulted cellar, finesse-rich wines are created with a fine balance of fruit, minerality and depth.
