Weingut Karl H. Johner

In 1985 after beeing ten years abroad Karl Heinz Johner and his wife Irene founded a little Weingut (vineyard & winery) in their home village “Bischoffingen” in the Kaiserstuhl. His focus was set on the Burgundy-wines full of structure and pure elegance. The young Weingut soon established himself as a pioneer of a new German winestyle recognised as being of an international class. Today “Weingut Karl H. Johner” is considered to be one of the best estates in Germany and is well-known amongst most wine experts.
