OENOPS WINES was founded in late 2015 by Nikos Karatzas in the region of Drama, a place that has been known for winemaking since ancient times. Our main goal is to produce authentic wines of the highest quality with minimal intervention. For that reason, we are searching for older vineyards of indigenous varieties and exceptional terroirs throughout the north of Greece as well as, most importantly, for passionate growers to build long term partnerships. Environmentally friendly techniques are applied in both vineyard and cellar.
