Description
Mostly modern but with hints of a more traditional style Xinomavro. Red fruits and white flowers to start with on the nose, followed by subtle tomato notes. Refined long palate with fine-grained tannins. Lively acidity.

Vineyard
The vineyards are located in Naousa and Amyndeo, in central and western Macedonia respectively. Naousa is a combination of mediterranean and maritime climates. Amyndeo is a cool climate high elevation plateau.
Soil Type
Naousa boasts heavier, slightly more calcareous soils, with a relatively high clay content. Amyndeo has a high percentage of sand in the soil.
Harvest Notes
Harvest started on the 25th of September with the early plots in Naousa and carried on until the 5th of October for the rest of the appellation. Amyndeo was harvested in the first week of November.
Vinification
After careful sorting and a short cold-soak, slow spontaneous fermentation takes place in tulip-shaped 31 hl concrete tanks and a small portion in 5 hl open top barrels. 5%-8% whole cluster.
Maturation
It is aged for 10 months on its fine lees in amphorae.
