Tradition, innovation, respect and love for nature are at the heart of what the Burkheim winegrowers do in the Kaiserstuhl region. Since the year 778, viticulture has been carried out in our little winegrowing town of Burkheim. The two top vineyards with their volcanic weathered rock on one side and the deep, fertile loess soil on the other, are predestined for outstanding Pinot wines. Our viticulture is always quality-oriented and environmentally friendly and has been practiced and lived with passion and enthusiasm for decades. These values are an expression of our passion.
