Sapling yard

Sapling Yard Wines was created in 2013 when Carla made her first wine, planting a vineyard in Braidwood. Carla and Mal have produced vintages together since 2019, sourcing fruit from the Braidwood vineyard and quality fruit from Canberra, Tumbarumba, and Hilltops Regions. All our wines are made in the Lake George Winery. We strive to make interesting wines and like to experiment with different varieties, blends and wine making processes including barrel fermenting, stainless steel and skin contact, making what we like to think of as wines with texture, savouriness, great length and balance.
