Weingut Umathum

Umathum is a traditional winery owning the vineyards that are ecologically and professionally managed, following after the rhythmen of the nature. Grape are always hand picked. The wines are made in a very traditional way, stored in the cellar for a long period of time to reach full potential and to give the wines strong personality and aging potential. The Crus are "Haideboden", "Vom Stein", "Ried Hallebühl", based on gravel soil on the East side of the Lake Neusiedler See, "Ried Kirchberg" and "Kirschgarten" in the hills of the Leithaberg, based on limestone and slate.
