Domaine of the Bee

Domaine of the Bee is a tiny patch of vineyards nestled in ancient Maury, in the Roussillon, owned by Justin Howard-Sneyd MW and his wife Amanda. Domaine of the Bee produces between 5,000-8,000 bottles per year from just four hectares, and a few more (non-Domaine) wines from grapes sourced from Jean-Marc Lafage of Domaine Lafage. The vineyards are on steep slopes packed with seriously gnarled vines between 60-100 years old. The hand-picked grapes make red wines that are deeply coloured and full-bodied, but the occasional white wine from local grapes varieties is also made.
