In a landscape scattered with enormous round granite boulders, a geological phenomenon to be found in only two or three other places around the world, in an area protected as of exceptional natural beauty, Alexandre Avatangelos & Gérard Margeon envisioned the re-creation of the vineyard existing 6.000 years ago. It became a lifetime aim to sustainably preserve the environment and create the best Greek wine in the world. A team of experienced viticulturalists & oenologists under the guidance of the famous Master Vigneron Stephane Derenoncourt undertook the task to create Clos Stegasta Wines.
