Weingut Sascha Montigny

The history of the Montignys began as a vine grafting company in the 1950s. Quickly, the proportion of red varieties increased to 50% of the vineyard area. After Sascha Montigny took over in 1994, the winery expanded to its current 9 hectares in prime locations on the lower Nahe. The favorable conditions due to climatic changes have resulted in the cultivation of new varieties. Viognier, Merlot and Syrah now complement the classic grape variety portfolio.
